Chairman Kang Seok-jin has a doctorate in business management and is a painter and poet. His diverse career and achievements establish him as a global leader beyond a simple manager. In 1968, he gained experience in international finance by directly promoting investment projects in Asia as a vice president at an investment bank in New York. Based on this experience, he joined the position in 1973 and took charge of the management of the company in Korea. In 1977, he was promoted to executive in charge of the company's business development and management strategy for Asia, where he proposed a new strategy to promote mutual growth through long-term investments and strategic partnerships, rather than viewing Asia as simply an overseas market. This proposal was not initially understood by the executives at the time, but Chairman Kang Seok-jin persuaded them through persistent persuasion and logical security, and ultimately this strategy was accepted, and he took charge of Korea's management and led the growth of more than 200 times, contributing to the growth of the Korean economy. He played a crucial role in global development, earning him the nickname ‘Korea’s Jack Welch.’ He actively promoted technology partnerships and joint venture projects with Korea, providing cutting-edge technologies needed for the development of Korean industries. In addition, as the chairman of the Convergence and Coexistence Forum, he spreads open discussion and appreciation culture to society and promotes international art and cultural exchange in the art world, and serves as chairman of the World Art and Culture Promotion Association, representative of the Korea Gallery Grand Festival, and chairman of the Korea-Japan Art Exchange Association.
